Alcatel-Lucent Q2: IP, wireless carry the day with strong results

Solid earnings in Alcatel-Lucent’s (NYSE: ALU) IP and wireless segments and strong growth in North America helped to partially offset a decline in fixed access revenues for the second quarter of 2010, the operator reports.
