Those interested in getting TiVO via cable overbuilder RCN should be happy to learn that the cable company has launched TiVo Premiere service in the Washington DC market. According to a prepared statement, the new service is available to customers of any RCN bundle for an additional $20 a month. While only in DC now, the service should soon expand into additional markets including New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania (an RCN employee in our forums says that NYC will be next). You can see all of the bundle options over at the RCN website.
