FCC broadband plan advisor Colin Crowell decides to move on
Colin Crowell, a major architect of the FCC’s broadband plan, will hand in his office keys in June to pursue life outside the public sector. His resignation, which was formally announced by the FCC on Monday, comes less than a year after taking the position of senior counselor to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski. Although Crowell would not reveal what he plans to do, he did say “it’s time for me to explore other professional opportunities.” Crowell is not the only key FCC staffer that’s decided to leave. Blair Levin, who rejoined the FCC as broadband plan advisor last year, will be leaving this week to join the Aspen Institute as a communications and society fellow. For more: Related articles:
