Clearwire Clarifies Summer Network Expansion Plans – Adds a long list of additional summer launch markets…

Clearwire this week issued a handful of press releases clarrifying the company’s summer Mobile WiMax network expansion plans. After announcing the expansion of the network into multiple central Pennsylvania markets earlier this week, the company added Nashville; Daytona and Orlando, Florida; Merced, Modesto, Stockton and Visalia, California; Rochester and Syracuse, New York; Wilmington, Delaware; Eugene, Oregon; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Yakima and Tri-Cities, Washington to their list of summer launch markets. Clearwire continues to insist they’ll reach 120 million people with the service by the end of this year. Clearwire’s earnings indicate the company is getting very close to 1 million subscribers.
